CATEGORIES & PLAYING RIGHTS

Manly Golf Club has three basic categories of membership: Playing, House and Bowling.

Playing Membership:

7-Day Playing Members: have full playing rights except that Female 7-Day Playing Members may not use the course before 3pm on Wednesday (after the Men's Competition) and Male 7-Day Playing Members may not use the course on Tuesdays until after the Women's Competition or 2.00pm which ever is the later.

5-Day Playing Members: men in this category may not play in Club Championship events other than the Mixed Foursomes Championship. Men and women 5-Day Playing Members may not use the course before 3pm on Wednesday or Saturday.  Male Members may not use the course on Tuesdays until after the Women's Competition or 2.00pm which ever is the later.

Country 7-Day and Country 5-Day Playing Members: whose permanent place of residence must be outside a radius of 150km from the Sydney GPO. These members enjoy the same rights as 7-Day and 5-Day Playing Members with a limit of 25 games and 20 games, respectively.

House Membership: The House Member enjoys full clubhouse privileges but no golfing rights.

Bowling Membership: The Bowling Member enjoys full clubhouse privileges and use of the bowling green but no golfing rights.
