Welcome to Manly Golf Club
Who we welcome.
Our membership criteria are deliberate. They protect the experience of every member and the character of the Club itself. The following points apply to all applicants.
Existing member referral
Proposed and seconded by two current members in good standing, each with a minimum of three years’ continuous membership.
Registered handicap
A current Golf Australia handicap (or recognised equivalent). Handicap limits may apply for selected categories.
Written application & interview
A formal application form, followed by an informal interview with members of the Membership Committee, typically held quarterly.
Minimum age
Full membership is open to applicants aged 18 and over. Junior and young-adult categories are available with separate qualifying criteria.
Standing & conduct
No history of expulsion from any golf or sporting body. Agreement to abide by the Club’s constitution, by-laws and rules of play.
Joining fee & subscription
A one-time joining fee is payable upon acceptance, followed by an annual subscription. Schedule provided privately upon offer of membership.

Submit an enquiry
Complete the form below. Your enquiry is reviewed by the Membership Secretary and acknowledged within five business days.
Referral confirmation
We contact your nominated proposer and seconder for endorsement and a short written reference on your behalf.
Committee interview
An informal meeting with members of the Membership Committee — a chance for both parties to ask questions and find shared ground.
Decision & offer
Applications are voted on at the quarterly Committee meeting. Successful applicants receive a formal offer with the full fee schedule.
Welcome to The Club
On receipt of your joining fee and first subscription, your membership is activated. Your card and locker key await at reception.

Member tee times
Members may book up to 14 days in advance via the member portal or Pro Shop. Priority windows apply to full members.
Introducing a guest
Members may host up to three guests per round. All guests must be signed in and accompanied on course. Standard guest fees apply.
Restricted periods
Weekend mornings prior to 12pm and designated competition days are reserved for members. Calendar published quarterly.
Clubhouse & dining
Full access to the clubhouse, dining room, members' bar, locker room and library during published opening hours.
Member portal & app
Bookings, competition entries, account management and digital scorecards — all in one place, on web and mobile.
Corporate & group days
A limited number of member-sponsored group days are hosted each season. Speak to the Club Manager for availability.

A pipeline for young players aged 12–17 with handicap support.

Reduced subscriptions for members residing more than 100km away.
