Our team of turfgrass professionals work very hard to ensure that our members, their guests and our visitors thoroughly enjoy our great golf course in its best condition.

It’s really important to us, and to all your fellow golfers, that as players you take the same personal care and pride in the facility as we do when we prepare the course each day.

General

Sand buckets must be carried and used at all times. They are provided in a number of locations around the clubhouse and on course.
Repair all plug marks on greens with a pitch repairer.
Enter and leave bunkers from the lowest access point – generally the back of the bunker or a tongue.
Once footprints are raked out do not leave the rake against the edge of the bunker.
Do not lean on your putter when on the green.
Players may take buggies around the green surrounds, but not on greens.

Bunkers

Before leaving a bunker, a player should carefully fill up and smooth over all holes and footprints, and then leave the rake with the handle pointing toward the tee of the hole being played in the middle of the bunker.

Always enter the bunker at the lowest point.
Pull rake toward you as you exit the bunker.
If required please rake any other play affected areas.
Always leave rakes outside bunkers on the “Blue T” markings provided.

Repairing Ball Marks & Divots

Always start at the back of the mark and push forward with the repairer.
Use repairer around all sides and slowly ease turf toward the centre of the mark.
Do not lift the soil upwards.
Lightly tap down with the flat surface of a putter.
Remove any loose turf from the affected area and knock-in all sides from the edge of the divot with your club or your shoe and fill with sand.

PROTECT THE GREENS

Players should ensure that when handling the flagstick no damage is done to the putting green and that neither they nor their caddies damage the hole by standing close to it in handling the flagstick or in removing the ball from the hole. The flagstick should be properly replaced in the hole before the players leave the putting green.
Do not drop the flagstick on the putting green as it will cause damage.
Always lower the flagstick by club or by hand.
Avoid damage to surrounds by carefully placing the stick in the centre of the cup.
Players must not use their putter to remove a golf ball from the hole.

Motorised Golf Carts

Are not be taken within 5 metres of greens, tees and bunkers unless on established pathways.
Are not be parked in front of greens.
Keep to rough areas as much as possible during wet and frosty conditions.
Keep clear of all wet areas.
Use the park-brake on all occasions when not in motion.
Avoid sensitive and newly planted native plants and grass roughs at all times.
Do not carry more than two persons at any time.

Current course and weather updates are available daily to members on this website. If you are a visitor to the club, please check with the Golf Shop staff for and weather concerns prior to your arrival.
LIGHTNING RISK WARNING
- Lightning is generally considered a risk and below is a risk warning to members and guests.
- Any time there is lightning activity, there is a significant risk of being struck by lightning on a golf course.
- It is the responsibility of members and guests to check weather forecasts and to ensure their own safety with regard to lightning before using the golf course, practice facilities or bowling green.
